In this modern day and age everything should be wireless, if you ask me! I'm a big fan of technology, but I absolutely despise the paraphernalia of wires that's oftentimes required for modern gadgets to operate properly.
So, when I first heard about this wireless home theater surround sound device, it followed naturally I was quite eager with anticipation. To think about it! Just the very words seem delightful enough in their unlikely combination: "wireless home theater surround sound". Wow.
You see, one of the greatest shortcomings of 5.1 surround sound devices was the annoying entanglement of wires that hooked the speakers together; I still remember the first time I installed such a system, I spend the whole afternoon just experimenting with different configurations, and trying to figure out a way for those wires to go by unnoticed; well, now with the advent of wireless home theater surround sound... that's fortunately a thing of the past, same as the steam engine and the mullet haircut.
I'm sure many of you audiophiles will easily relate with this feeling, right? Just try to picture this in your mind: your new home theater sound system has just arrived on the mail. You open the box, gently scoop out the main module and satellite speakers out from the Styrofoam casing. You get rid of all the packaging, and all that remains is your shiny new sound system.
Eager with anticipation, you just plug the central unit into the power grid, and stack it neatly next to the TV set. You take hold of those sexy satellites, and whimsically - all the while strategically, place them around the living room. That's it!
You power on the sound system, press play on your DVD and the sound that pours out from the speakers just compels you to take an involuntary little gasp: what an amazing crystal clear quality! So unbelievable - you almost want to cry in your excitement.

You revel in it for some minutes, until suddenly you realize the sound will actually get a little better if you move the satellites to a different configuration. No problems, there! After all you're using the latest wireless home theater surround sound system, right?
Welcome to the future, my friend... a shiny future where your dear gadgets are free to get moved around without constraints of any kind: much to your heart's contentment.
